Zerkle Financial Services, LLC (ZFS) is dedicated to providing independent financial services and planning for individuals of all needs. We specialize in retirement and estate planning for those acknowledging the need for a knowledgeable financial professional in their lives. Because of a conviction to act in the best interests of each individual client, ZFS is an independent company, also operating through an independently managed broker-dealer for securities, so as to have no particular allegiance to any specific investments, companies, or custodians.
ZFS is owned and operated by W. Scott Zerkle, an Investment Advisor Representative and a Registered Representative with Cetera Advisors LLC, Member FINRA/SIPC, an SEC registered Investment Advisor. Scott graduated from Wittenberg University (B.A., 1992), has a law degree (J.D., 1995) from The Ohio State University College of Law, and has a legal background, having practiced law prior to leaving that practice for the financial services industry. Despite no longer maintaining an active license as an attorney, this background contributes to Scott's approach to financial planning and fosters the cohesiveness that is necessary for clients' financial plans to be compatible with their legal, estate, and tax plans, as well. Scott, his wife, Shannon, and their children reside in the northwest Columbus suburb of Powell, Ohio.
